Practicing in the field.

Link gave a battlecry as he leaped through the bushes, his blade slicing through them with little effort. As the leaves and grass floated around the young boy finally sheathed his sword with a deep breath. He hadn't had any lunch yet and his belly was starting to rumble. He hadn't realized that he'd been practicing for quite this long. There was a nice shady spot nearby and Link walked over to it, the blond ten year old sitting down with a comfortable sigh.

Hyrule fields were never the safest place without a weapon, everyone knew that, still though Chris had to get home from Lake Hylia. He sighed heavily though, the heat was really beating down on him today and he was hungry. He had a lunch with him, but he didn't want to eat until he'd found a nice safe spot. As he traveled along he jumped, hearing a battle cry from not too far off and panicked lightly. Soon though he noticed the blonde haired kid and let out a sigh of relief, he thought it was a monster or something a little more threatening than someone around his own age.

As Link sat beneath the tree he sipped at a bottle of milk. The field hadn't had much in the way of activity during the warm afternoon, and it was nice to see another person nearby. The blond boy sat up more as he wiped a bit of milk from his lips. "Hey! Did you want to stop for lunch?" Link smiled as he took a bite of a cookie from a pouch. "It's really nice to see someone today, it was kinda lonely."
